Steve Ellis is passionate about the Creator of the universe and how God has revealed Himself to mankind through the love and person of Jesus Christ and the indwelling Holy Spirit. For thirty-two years, he has served local churches in a variety of positions: associate pastor, music pastor, missions pastor, executive pastor, and discipleship pastor. He is passionately in love with his wonderful wife Brenda of forty years and loves his children, their spouses and four grandchildren. He is founder and lead counselor of Open Door Biblical Counseling Center that is under the ministry umbrella of Connection Fellowship. He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University, and an M-Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is board certified with National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the Advanced Certified Temperament Therapy Counselor with NCCA. He also trains students in Biblical counseling through his Certified Academic Institution with NCCA. He presently serves as one of the pastors of Connection Fellowship.
